Retreat

The next couple days I will be away for a clergy retreat, unless Arwen comes early.  I had just told the elders and deacons at their training that their training was a mini-retreat.  It was mentioned that in the past there had been times when different groups would do retreats and I said it has to begin with those in leadership doing so.  Thus I am going to do so myself by going to the presbytery’s retreat for those ordained as ministers of word and sacrament.  

I hope that this year will be one where we will all be able to slow down and get away to reflect on what God is doing within us and through us and on His will for us.
