Isaiah 49:14-50:3 tells us that after the return from exile and the work of Jesus on the cross there will be a population explosion for the church that would take Israel by surprise. Indeed, within a couple hundred years after the death of Christ our faith had spread even to England. Even we are part of the church’s population explosion. Just because the church has been in decline in the West does not mean that God has forsaken or forgotten His people there, even if many of them have forsaken and forgotten Him. The sad truth is that some mothers do forsake their children, but God will not forget you.
